I was going to ask how Vielitz went ...
Hi Starstruck,
this is the wrong thread, I know, but the answer to your question, and I could not find any better.
Hansetag in Vielitz was very good, well organised and smooth (small wonder: Vielitz is in Prussia, and Hopsing was in charge
).
Friday: Arrival at Vielitz; barbecue, meet the Hanseatic League.
Saturday we enjoyed a boat trip (lake Gudelack, beautiful); I brought a Jolly Roger, no enemy ships were taken, though (only snaikkas, not worth the effort). All travellers disembarked safely.
Lunch at restaurant "Seeperle" (pearl of the lake); close-by fishing hut supplied me with fresh pike-perch.
Back to the salt-mines: I wanted to learn about pirates and building; and I found what I desired. Frank, Ugh!, and Gesil, only to mention a few, were very patient and kind.
Needless to say, I did not get much sleep. Comfy hammock, though
.
Weather was fine all the time.
I'd like to announce the following: The members of this convention decided: From now on, pending further notice, Hansetag will take place every third week-end in August.
The rest is easily told:
.
Sunday:
Best regards,
Charlotte
PS: photos - yep. I hope Hopsing will see to that soon.
